Winter Support

Over the past couple of months our country has experienced some of the worst weather since records began.

That why community volunteers decided to help our most vulnerable residents during this period by offering free bowls of warm scouse and a crusty roll to keep them warm, the food was prepared freshly by the green Room Café. Volunteers also ensured that residents  had all their essential groceries to last them during the cold weather and if they didn’t a short trip to the local hops was no problem.

Tine Harris, Chairperson –  “To be able to offer this small warm meal to many of our vulnerable residents was a pleasure and I am sure that this will have gone a long way to making sure that they felt supported during the cold weather”
